Launching Unipower Premium Liquid Metal

Unipower Premium has the unique advantage of double metallic splash protection of cast aluminum and cast iron in the same fabric.

We have achieved Protection Level D3, against metallic splashes from molten aluminum.
We have reached Protection Level E3, against metallic splashes from cast iron.

Unipower Premium guarantees the highest levels of protection against metallic aluminum (D3) and cast iron (E3) splashes, in accordance with ISO 11611 and ISO 11612 standards, even after 50 washes. In addition to offering better moisture absorption on the inner face, due to the 100% cotton composition, increasing the user's thermal comfort.

Antiviral Finish

Thinking about the urgency of more resources that advance in the fight against the Corona Virus, Santanense went in search of the highest technology available on the market, presenting to its customers and partners, the new Antiviral Finish.

Fabrics can serve both as a protective material and as routes for the proliferation and transmission of viruses, fungi and bacteria. Therefore, to turn fabrics into true barriers to protect the skin against contaminated liquids and secretions, it is necessary that these fabrics receive the appropriate finishes.

For the manufacture of masks, clothing and accessories with a high level of protection, Santanense developed the Antiviral Finishing. Fabrics that receive the Antiviral Finish, created through nanotechnology, are able to act directly on infectious microorganisms, neutralizing them, ensuring the integrity and natural balance of the skin in just 2 minutes.

Antiviral Finishing is essential to turn fabric masks into high individual protection articles. Since masks are potential vectors for the spread of microorganisms. Before, during or after their use, there is always a risk of contamination when picking up, putting on, adjusting, removing or discarding the masks.

Santanense's Antiviral Finishing was developed through AG+FRESH by NANOX Technology – Textile Nanotechnology. NNXC Ag+Fresh Hybrid is a formula that uses a silver complex stabilized with water-based organic compounds, which inhibits the growth and proliferation of bacteria, fungi and viruses.

Its application is indicated on surfaces with potential for disease vectors, such as fabrics.

The results obtained through the analysis of tests on samples were able to demonstrate that the product did not induce any process of photosensitizing and photoirritant and also did not induce any process of primary dermal irritability, accumulated dermal irritability or sensitization. The product is safe for topical use in accordance with the ANVISA Guide, 2012.

ISO 18184 – 99.9% reduction of Sars-CoV-2 in 2 minutes.

AATCC 100 – 99.9% reduction in Bacteria and Fungi.

Always important to remember that, even using Santanense fabrics with Antiviral Finish, all preventive measures indicated by the World Health Organization - WHO, are valid. FR Fabric Masks

In view of the current situation of COVID-19, in addition to the need for flame retardant clothing for areas at risk of electric arc and sudden fire, to ensure greater safety for workers, the ideal is to use a mask that also contains FR Protection.

We highly recommend using our 100% cotton UNIFORTE SLIM FR fabric as an inner layer (lining), in order to contain moisture and provide greater comfort to the user.

As for the outer layer, we recommend the UNIPAR inherent mixed fabric, which has 48% moda-crylic, 37% cotton and 15% para-aramid in its composition. In addition to having a low moisture absorption value (Regain), that is, it will not easily absorb external liquids.
